Premier Futsal League (PFL)

R150,000 Futsal carryover boost

The April edition of the Premier Futsal League (PFL) is underway and TAB will boost Futsal pools with add-ins totalling R150,000 on three Fridays in the month.

Futsal fixtures for April have been fine-tuned and there will be nine matches daily Monday through Friday with the first game at 10:45. TAB will operate a Soccer 6 (matches four to nine daily), a Soccer 4 (matches six to nine) and three Soccer 2 pools (matches one and two; three and four; eight and nine).

This Friday the Futsal Soccer 6 pool will start with a R25,000 add-in and TAB will also add R5,000 to the Soccer 4 pool on the day. Plus there will be R2,500 add-ins to each of the three Soccer 2 pools.

There has never been a better time to bet on Futsal, an exciting and high-action variation of normal soccer. Matches comprise two 20-minute halves and all games are televised live on the SPORTSLIVE channel in TAB and Betting World stores.

Muizenberg Reds won the March PFL championship in good style, eventually accumulating 10 points more than Tshwane Spurs, who played one game less due to an abandoned fixture.

The Reds owed much for their success to their prolific goal-scorer Bongane Mbatha, who has proved easily the best striker since the PFL kicked off. He had scored 105 goals when the curtain came down on the March PFL championship on Friday - 36 more than anybody else!
