The 14-point gap between Leicester and Wolves is not reflective of the tussle expected this evening where Wolves are almost sure to score.

Leicester City are to this season what Wolverhampton Wanderers were last – interlopers among the dominant pack of perennial contenders for the title and places in European competition.Leicester are third in the Premier League after several months in second spot, and at one stage were even threatening Liverpool for top spot, before the Reds thumped them 4-0 at the King Power Stadium. As things stand now the Foxes remain in strong contention for a berth in the Champions League. Wolves finished seventh last season to earn a place in the Europa League and participation in Europe this season has taken a little of their focus away although a win tonight will see Wolves up to sixth. The 14-point gap between Leicester and Wolves is not reflective of the tussle expected this evening where Wolves are almost sure to score  -- this season they have scored in every Premier League home game.Given Leicester’s recent setbacks at the likes of Aston Villa and Burnley, Wolves are fancied to take this one. Also in the pool there could be another home triumph for ever-improving Stellenbosch FC as they host SuperSport United at the Cape Town Stadium. They are have win their last two home games and with 24 points are moving closer to their target of 30 for the season – which will supposedly ensure their top flight survival -- plus staying clear of the relegation zone.

A near R9-million carryover to tomorrow’s Soccer 13 pool adds loads of excitement to TAB’s soccer pools this weekend, when Liverpool are back from their brief winter break and set to continue their unbeaten, record-setting run in the English Premier League.Their away game tomorrow against Norwich City is one in which they are expected to take the points and continue their impressive march to the title.Few TAB soccer customers will give the struggling Canaries, even if they are at home at Carrow Road, any chance of being able to topple Liverpool off their winning perch.
