Moyes wants rule changed

David Moyes, West Ham’s new manager, has called on the International Football Association Board (IFAB) to change the hand-ball law.Moyes made the suggestion after his side were denied a stoppage-time equaliser by the video assistant referee in their 1-0 defeat against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Friday.Robert Snodgrass thought he had levelled the scores, but replays showed the ball had been headed against Declan Rice’s arm from point-blank range by defender John Egan in the build-up. Moyes said IFAB should discuss the law at their annual meeting on 29 February in Belfast.
